 The
vacation rental accommodation has 2 bedrooms, one of which has a partial en
suite. There is in addition a family bathroom with shower attachment over the
bath and a spacious living room that features an insert-unit fireplace -
ideal for spending cosy evenings by the fire. The wooden deck offers stunning
views of Mayne Island and Mount Baker. Deer often graze in the garden beneath
the windows; pods of orcas pass by; otters ramble on the grass only yards away
from the house; seals laze on the rocks and all kinds of birds can be seen.
Galiano Waterfront Retreat is a nature lover's dream.
The house provides accommodation for 4 people with crockery etc
for 6-8 people. Bed, bathroom and kitchen linens are fully provided. Pets by
arrangement.
The two
double bedrooms provide a perfect haven for your vacation in the Gulf Islands.
Comfortably equipped, these rooms put you in the heart of the natural
surroundings. Our guests can see whales swimming in Active Pass direct from the
main bedroom window.
 The
kitchen is well equipped with a full sized 4-burner electric stove and oven,
microwave, coffee-maker, bread-machine, electric kettle, refrigerator, toaster,
dishwasher and good quality dishes and cooking equipment. The utility room, off
the kitchen, has a washing machine and drier. Patio
doors take you out from the kitchen to the large deck area.

Various games equipment is available (e.g. badminton, Boules/bocce
balls, board games, jigsaw puzzles). Local sports facilities include cycling,
sailing, scuba diving, fishing, kayaking, golf, scenic trails/footpaths and
picnic spots in extensive Provincial Parks.
